Facility info
Appointment scheduling: Required; showing up late triggers $250 late fee even 15 minutes over. Some drivers report appointments changed without warning to inconvenient times (e.g., 8am moved to 2am). Check-in: Walk paperwork to guard shack first, then park. Early arrivals may be turned away or sent to wait at nearby gas station or athletic complex until closer to appointment time. Unload times: Consistently slow. Most common complaint: 4–6+ hours from appointment time to empty. Many drivers report 2+ hour wait before unloading actually begins despite having dock assignment. Lumper fees: Required (Capstone). High and variable—$130–$250 reported. Drivers claim additional unexplained fees are sometimes added. Dock conditions: Extremely tight spaces. Difficult for Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors; better for Volvo/International/Freightliner. Uneven ground reported. Limited room to maneuver between door and wall. Overnight parking: None on-site. Free overflow at Rocky Mount Athletic Complex (off Barnham/Church Street). Some paid parking nearby; confirm details. UBW lot is 100% paid parking. Guard shack/security: Mixed reports. Some guards polite and professional; others reported as yelling, rude, and overzealous about late fees. One female guard reported as particularly aggressive. Office staff: Inconsistent. Some drivers praise receiving staff; others report rudeness and lack of communication about delays. Restrooms: Available for drivers inside facility. Paperwork delays: Common complaint—30 minutes to 1+ hour after unload to receive bills. Early arrivals: No consistent policy. Some get immediate doors; others sent away or to wait area. General: Highly polarized reviews. A small number report smooth 2–3 hour in-and-out experiences; majority describe it as frustrating, poorly organized, and disrespectful to driver time.

Warning: These people don't give a damn about a driver's time.
6 am appt. Put me in a door and didn't touch me for 2 1/2 hours.
Now almost 4 hours later, still no text link to pay lumper fee... Still screwing around in the trailer.
The kicker? It's a load of Styrofoam fast food containers for Captain D's.
Not even 13,000 lbs. Not even food.
This place doesn't even deserve one star.
