Early check-in (5:30 AM start) operates first-come, first-served basis — arrive early to get ahead of line Appointments often not honored; expect 2-6+ hour wait for dock assignment even with scheduled time Unloading speed highly variable: ranges from 30 minutes to 8+ hours depending on load size and warehouse capacity Paperwork processing is the major bottleneck — can add 1-3 hours after unload completion Lumper fees charged ($145-$605 range); mandatory in most cases No overnight truck parking on facility grounds; street parking available if you arrive early, but spaces limited Single bathroom inside, reportedly clean Check-in window staff mixed: some friendly and professional, others reportedly rude or dismissive Security gate and receiving office both require check-in procedures Vest required for check-in Gate opens 5:30 AM Easy backing; yard jockeys available to assist No clear separation between reefer and dry van loads — reefers may be prioritized, delaying dry loads Some drivers report damaged goods returned to trailer with minimal care This is a Performance Food Group facility (Springfield, MA location); other PFG locations reportedly have similar issues

I would like to express my disappointment with the way this company treats small businesses.

The customer service has been extremely disappointing. The company does not provide product catalogs or price lists, and when customers ask about them, the response is that it is our responsibility to request prices and catalogs ourselves. This makes the ordering process unnecessarily difficult and inefficient.

I have made several attempts to establish a business relationship with this company, both for bakery products and meat department products, but it has always felt like they have no interest in working with small businesses. Instead of supporting potential customers, they make the process frustrating and unwelcoming.

On top of that, their minimum order requirement is far too high for small businesses. Considering that their prices are not among the most competitive on the market, these requirements are difficult to justify.

As the owner of a small business, I believe every customer deserves respect, transparency, and professional service, regardless of the size of their company. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing, and I hope the company reconsiders how it treats small business owners who are genuinely interested in becoming loyal customers.
Thank you
