Facility info

Appointment scheduling: Appointments required and generally honored. Call number on staging area signs between 5:45am–2pm to check in and get door assignment. Early arrivals sometimes accommodated if docks available, but don't count on it. Receiving stops at 1pm. Some discrepancies reported between appointment times in their system vs. what dispatcher provided—verify before arrival. Check-in procedure: Stage in parking area, call number on signs with truck info. Office staff will assign dock (note: cooler vs. dry docks labeled with C or D prefix). Write door number and cell phone on paperwork. Unisex bathroom available in check-in office. Unload times: Highly variable. Range from 30 minutes to 5+ hours. Most reports 1–2 hours. Depends on load complexity and facility workload. Frozen/cooler loads may take longer due to product breakdown required. Lumper fees: Capstone lumper company used. Fees reported between $210–$354 depending on load. Self-lumping option available. Some drivers consider fees not worth the trip unless load pays well. Overnight parking: Staging area with 10–15 paved spots available at facility entrance. No gate. Walmart and Kwik Trip nearby (15 miles east on HWY 29) as alternatives. Facility condition: Newer facility (couple years old). Clean, well-lit, paved staging area. Easy docking with room to maneuver. Professional, friendly staff overall—though isolated complaints about individual forklift operators and refrigeration dock staff attitude. Weekend operations: Sunday unloads reported as faster. Different procedures on Sundays—gate opens ~5:30am, can back directly into any open door without appointment call. Caution: GPS may route to wrong location 4 miles away—use physical address or landmarks (HWY 29 Exit 227, head north on County Road B, half mile on left).
