Facility info
Americold/Massillon Warehouse facility — highly variable experiences, from 1-2 hours to 6-7+ hours Live load/unload only — no drop and hook Appointment scheduling: won't load until appointment time, but will take you early if dock is available Check-in at security gate, papers exchanged there Entrance/truck entrance hard to spot — watch for signs carefully or you'll miss the driveway Overnight parking: conflicting reports — some say available (large lot at back of building, service road left of guard shack), others say none Staff generally friendly and professional at gate and dock Lot size adequate for maneuvering Driver restroom availability unclear/not confirmed in reviews Note: Shearer Distribution moved to Phoenix Ave off Millennium Ave (1.5 miles away) — confirm you have correct facility before going Multiple companies at same address — verify Massillon Warehouse is your destination Wait times unpredictable — can depend on dock congestion and other trucks ahead of you
Driver reviews
This is not Americold any longer it’s considered Massillon Warehouse. Staff is friendly. You can park on the service road on the left hand side of gaurd shack if you need to grab a nap. Quick unloading also. They just recently opened so hopefully they keep up great work thanks guys. 4stars bc I didn’t see a restroom for drivers but I could be mistaken.
At the same address are a bunch of companies. I needed the Massillon warehouse, which is also Americold, and that made me spend some time driving around. On my bill was only Massillon's name and no signs about it.
Held up for 6hours here, had to PC out both truck stops were basically full; circled for 30min before a spot opened
