Operator: Performance Food Group
Facility info
Appointments required. Early check-in (5am) available. Late arrival = $100/hour penalty. Sign says don't enter gate—call for check-in instead, but drivers report actually checking in at door 14 works better. Ignore conflicting instructions. Live unload only. Lumper service (Capstone) operates on-site. Typical lumper fee $135-$410. Lumpers allegedly stamp bills with shortened timestamps to avoid paying detention—drivers report getting red-lighted and held for hours after initial stamp, then unable to collect detention pay. Wait times are brutal. Majority of reviews report 4-9+ hours from appointment to departure, even for small loads (2-8 pallets). Some appointments for 5-6am appointments see drivers leaving at 1-2pm. Few reports of acceptable 1-2 hour turnarounds, but these are exceptions. Understaffed unloading crew consistently cited. Door assignments delayed. Expect 30min-2+ hours waiting for door assignment even with early arrival. Parking disaster. Facility lot too small. Must park on street outside gate before check-in. Street has severe potholes that damage trucks. Limited shoulder space; trucks blocking through traffic. Reefer loads may get dock space; dry van side extremely tight. One gate can be manually opened to access alternate street parking. Tight backing. Docks 28-30 and far-end docks require spotters/additional help. Tight maneuverability throughout. Low-profile vehicles at risk. Overnight parking. Street parking available outside facility. No security issues reported for Frost Street parking (facing west). Holes in road make parking risky. Bathrooms. No proper restrooms. Only filthy portable toilet available. Will call office has functioning flushing toilet (anomaly). Staff attitude. Mostly polite/friendly in check-in, but indifferent to wait times. One report of rude window staff. Management doesn't acknowledge issues. No facilities. No food, no lounges, no adequate parking. Drivers must bring food if staying extended hours. Unloading speed. Only 2-3 workers
Driver reviews
Drivers don't came to this please they don't have respect and for 4 pallets I was wating 10 hours agly please
Don’t come here , confirmed appointment with broker for Thursday 9am, came 8:45 am, they claim the appointment is for Monday at 9am. Wasted my whole weekend . Stay away.
I have to say after reading all the reviews. I was really dreading this place, but I got there at 10 AM for a 12 o'clock appointment got adored immediately and was unloaded within an hour with paperwork in hand and rolling dudes inside were cool so I don't know if I just got lucky but it was a good experience. I have.
Decent unloading time, its kind of tight, probably not a good place for a rookie to deliver.
