Appointments: Must check in at guard shack (not at dock). Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before appointment or risk not being accepted. Receiving hours roughly 8pm-1am. GPS may route you to wrong location—go to 9615 45th Ave SW. Check-in process: Park on street, walk to guard shack, fill out paperwork, then go to receiving office with BOLs. Takes time but straightforward if you know the route. Unload times: Highly variable and frequently slow. Expect 3-10+ hours. Many reports of 6-9 hour waits for loads under 15 pallets. Unload speed inconsistent day to day. Paperwork/green light delays: Major complaint. After unload completes, can wait 1-3+ hours for signed BOL and green light to leave. Paperwork sometimes left in trailer with no notification. Lumper fee: Capstone handles unloading. Expect $165-450+. Must pay before departure. Fee assessed before paperwork is ready, creating additional delays. Tight backing: Docks at buildings 23-24 (candy/specialty loads) are extremely tight. Limited pull-forward space; micro-movements required. Drivers trapped until adjacent trucks leave. Not suitable for novices or 53ft sleeper cabs. Some docks accommodate better than others. Street parking only: No onsite parking for waiting. Street parking severely limited—often full. Cannot leave facility before unload/paperwork complete. Guard will direct to nearby parking after departure. Bathrooms: Only porta-potties available; described as disgusting/dirty. Located near guard shack—ask staff where. Staff attitude: Mixed. Some guards/receiving staff helpful and professional. Others reported as rude, dismissive, or indifferent. Receiving office staff sometimes more accommodating than yard personnel. Yard conditions: Cramped, poorly signed. Multiple receiving buildings cause confusion. No vending machines or driver amenities on-site. Food/shopping within walking distance. Overnight stay: Not viable. No overnight parking on premises or nearby street. Drop/hook: Live unload only.
