Facility info

Appointments: Won't let early arrivals through gate; must wait until appointment time. Some reports of 1-4+ hour delays after checking in despite confirmed appointments. Gate opens 5am but receiving won't check you in until 5:45am for 6am appointments. Operations: Live unload facility. Uses third-party Capstone Logistics for unloading—consistently cited as slow. Lumper fees $106-$342+ depending on load complexity, damage claims, and miscellaneous charges (retakes, bad wood, pinwheel, convenience fees). Late fees: $75 for 2 hours, $125 for longer delays. Unload times highly variable—reports range from under 1 hour to 8+ hours; most complaints center on 3-5 hour waits. Check-in: Gate security screen required. Bring paperwork for 5:45am entry window. Parking: No onsite overnight parking. Limited street/shoulder parking available outside facility; uneven and potentially muddy. Bathrooms: Not mentioned in reviews. Staff attitude: Mixed. Some report friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. Others report being ignored, treated poorly, or given attitude when asking questions. One standout positive interaction documented. Yard conditions: Outdoor storage area needs cleaning. Cluttered with third-party trailers. Hours: 6am-1pm for deliveries. GPS note: Use caution with GPS routing; facility is past IGA on left side of road. Bottom line: Inconsistent experience. Speed varies dramatically day-to-day. High lumper charges. Don't plan tight schedules.

7am appt. Pull up to the gate at 6:41. Told they aren’t “ready for me” to turn around and go park on the service road back out pointing in the wrong direction. With nowhere to turn around. Some low level manager comes out to tell me “he has a CDL and it’s not that hard to go find a place to turn around”. If Drivers, brokers, and manufacturers would stop tolerating this treatment, maybe things would change. But they won’t. I feel the only thing that’s going to change is what I choose to do for a career. I’m over this.

Checked in 5am Appointment 6am it’s now past 7am and still waiting outside the gate to be called for a door as I watch truck after truck come after me and get doors. They obviously do not respect appointment times and pick and choose who they want in probably the lumpers are choosing the money loads to come in first I used to work at a warehouse so I’ve seen this firsthand when companies let the lumpers run the show that’s my guess what’s happening here. Glad I don’t run reefer anymore and only occasionally have to put up with this nonsense of these food service places always the worst of the worst. Avoid this place.

Edit: 9:38 and still here the lumpers finally sent me link to pay it and it’s been paid but still waiting for my bills not sure what the holdup is it was unloaded over an hour ago all one item no breakdown just a straight pull off and not only are the bills not ready but I have to keep checking every 10 minutes god forbid they walk their lazy butts out to the truck and hand me the bills when they decide to sign them. This place is trash and I watched them charge a guy a late fee while I’m waiting for my bills which is messed up as I told them if he was on time he would’ve been just sitting here waiting and you guys have the nerve to charge him a late fee when you guys aren’t even on time it should work both ways. I’ll say it again, Avoid this place
