Scheduling & Check-In Early check-in available around 4:30-5am even for later appointments. Gate opens 8:30am. Don't arrive before 5am or risk being turned around. Check in at guard shack, get door assignment, proceed to dock. Most drivers report quick check-in process. Unload Times Highly inconsistent. Some report under 30 minutes to 1 hour. Others report 4-6 hours for small loads (2-8 pallets). Multiple drivers cite slow unloading speed and only 2 trucks working. Restacking and counting can add significant time. LTL loads particularly problematic for multi-stop routes. Lumper Fees $40-$125 per load depending on pallet count. Drivers report fees are disclosed upfront at receiving window. Payment by check or cash only — no card option. Overnight Parking Street parking available outside facility. Safe and commonly used. Can check in night before and wait for morning call. Facility Layout Tight backing to some doors. Stay left upon entry, drive behind drop trailers, come back out front to dock. Straight pull-offs easier than backing. Receiving Office Mixed reports on staff attitude. Some describe receiving lady as nice and professional. Others report rudeness, ignoring drivers, disinterest in helping. Inconsistent experience. Bathrooms Outside porta-potty only — no indoor facilities. Security Generally professional and respectful. One report of rude/manners issue. One report of possible discriminatory behavior and secondhand smoke in guard shack. Overall Decent for small loads with manageable wait. Poor choice for time-sensitive multi-stop LTL routes. Quality varies significantly by visit and staff on duty.

Arrived for my 7am appointment one hour early. Pulled uo to tue guard shack and was checked in but was told I needed to turn around and park on the street and wait. Called me at 7am was instructed to back into any free dock 53-60. Then took paperwork into receiving door by dock 9. Make sure you take your seal with you. Took just a little over 2 hours and I was empty and ready to roll.
First time here. Got here around 3am for a 7am appointment and came through Power House St for that overnight parking. Called number around 6:45am and got me right in. Tell you to get a dock between this and that number whichever is available. Break seal, open doors, back in and take seal and papers by door 9 shipping office. They get your number and send text for lumper fee, mine was $64. Call was at 7:52am ready to go. Btw I crept in had no clock left, still needed 3 more hours of that break to go so i can get time back so i asked where i could park for 3 hours after exiting and the guy told me i could do it inside the facility. Appreciate it 🙏🏻 overall good experience
