Agile Cold Storage - Joliet
2791 Spencer Rd, Joliet, IL 60433
Operator: Agile Cold Storage
Facility info
Appointments strictly enforced—won't assign door until scheduled time even if bays open. Expect waits. Check-in via QR code digital system; security handles paperwork at guard shack. Process can drag. Unloading/loading highly variable—30 mins to 19+ hours reported. Heavily dependent on facility backlog and staffing. No overnight parking allowed (though some conflicting reports say it's available—verify ahead). Bathrooms available and clean. Facility is clean overall; staff attitude mixed—friendly people but workflow often slow and disorganized. Entrance/exit layout is tight and poorly designed; expect maneuvering challenges if trucks ahead of you. No food nearby—bring your own.
Driver reviews
Can get a bit behind, but they are a "closed door" facility so just slid tandems and back into your assigned door. Green-red-green light then return to Guardshack for paperwork.
Slow
Spent 22 hours at this facility. I am very upset with the way people work here. Security woke me up 2 times for no reason. Came at 10 am, left at 8 am next day. Good luck delivering your load here
Slow and unorganised. Bring food and don't expect to get out quickly
Absolutely terrible experience. I checked in at 10 AM for 10 AM appointment and didn’t get unloaded until 5 AM the next day — 19 hours of completely pointless waiting. This is by far my record for wasted time. They said they were still working on trucks from the previous day, but that’s not my responsibility. Poor scheduling and zero respect for drivers’ time. There’s no food anywhere nearby, so you’re basically stuck hungry the whole day. The only positive is that the restroom was clean — but honestly, imagine how bad it would’ve been if it wasn’t. Overall, extremely unorganized place, long delays, and no consideration for drivers. Avoid if you can. 👎🚛
